What an amazing ring, it has a real 70s vibe to it with its elongated oval shape surround by a rope design.
The large oval shape that takes up a large portion of the finger, making quite a statement.
A beautiful piece of opal with great play of colour with a rock crystal top to protect it.
 
As you can see from the photos, sadly a bit of the opal has come away from the back leaving just the rock crystal in place. This is reflected in the price.
It is still a lovely piece and when worn not that noticeable. This ring would lend itself to have a backing put on it by a clever jeweller. It could then be used as a memorial or locket ring. Just an idea. It is beautiful as it is and fabulous to wear.
