A fabulous sliding sterling silver bangle with a belt design dating from the 1980s. 
Perfect to wear alone or with multiple bangles.
 
Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1983. IA. It is also stamped 925 in a different area of the bangle

This doesn't open fully, you slide it open and put your hand through and it retracts back around the wrist. Fully open the space is 75x60mm and the circumference is 21.5cm (8 1/2 ") width 1.5cm.
 
There are a few dents and its overall shape is oval rather than round but otherwise in good vintage condition.
