An absolutely amazing antique brooch, the photos don't do it justice. The blue paste is such a vibrant colour and it gives a magical sparkle.
It has small grey foil backed paste stones around the outer edge.
It looks like it was once gilded as there are remnants in some areas.
The blue paste glows green at different levels under LW UV light. The central stone is the brightest.
A well made brooch an a delightful piece of history.
