This is a stunning pear shaped natural emerald set into buttery 18ct yellow gold. Such a vivid and lively colour with an estimated weight of 0.98cts.

I believe this has been filled to enhance the clarity. Oiling is standard and has been done for hundreds of years. I suspect this emerald may have been filled with a polymer but I can not be 100 % sure without sending it to a bigger lab with specialist equipment. Therefore I am selling it at a much lower price than it would normaly be.
