Red andesine is a type of Feldspar and a beautiful and lively stone. These are red in colour with orange flashes. It is not a widely known gemstone and it naturally occurs in a colourless variety although it can sometimes be found in a red colour when coloured by copper. Most red andesine on the market had been treated to induce the red colour.
