Red andesine is a type of Feldspar and a beautiful and lively stone. This one is red in colour with orange flashes. It is not a widely known gemstone and it naturally occurs in a colourless variety although it can sometimes be found in a red colour when coloured by copper. Most red andesine on the market had been treated to induce the red colour.
 
Red andesine is believed to offer emotional healing by fostering compassion and balancing complex emotions, along with supporting spiritual growth and mental clarity.
